Questions
I have been planning a brithday for my mothers 50th and i was wondering if you thought it would be to tacky to use plastic tablecloths for such an event. I am trying to save money and have alot of table, i have looked at plastic lined tablecloths but i have noticed they are almost 15 dollars each. so im thinking of just using the plastic table covers for the party.. is it wise?
Answer
Yes it is deffinatly wise to use plastic tablecloths for a party such as this and no it is not tacky people are using these types of tablecloths for wedding and all types of formal events. if it is a little to plain for you try sprinkling on a few peices of glitter once th tablecloth is set. they are very inexpesive and great for one time use or if you wish to use them again they are very easy to clean. hope your party turns out well and i know you can not go wrong with plastic table cloths.

Questions
My children have been painting at the dinning room table and most of the paint has come out of you plastic tablecloth except for the blue. it does not look great and the same thing has happend to there clothes all the color was removed accept for the blue. Do you have a sugestion that can help?
Answer
Personall i have tryed many thing for such an occassion but i found that the best thing wast the “spray and wash stain stick” for the childrens cloths. which can be purchased either online or at most retail stores. put the stick on the stain and let is sit for two – three day and no longer. then wash in a cold cycle but do not use a dryer unless all the stains have been removed otherwhis the stain will be permanent.
in regards toe the plastic table cloth the best way is by using a dish cloth and baking soda. however if this does not work i would look at replacing the tablecloth as they are very inexpensive and you can pick them up for penies.
hope this helps.

No matter what kind of gathering you choose to throw, make sure to throw a table cloth on all tables. These are a necessity at every party. Just like invitations, cups, plates and napkins you will need a good table cloth at every get together. From plastic to linen, using a table cloth is a must have and common party accessory.
When you decide to throw a party, or to summon a group of people with the purpose of holding a feast, you should always keep in mind that good organization is the key to any successful outcome. Just as important as the menu or the list of guests, or the music are also items that can be easily overlooked by an untrained eye, such as the color of the napkin, the style of the invitation, the shape of the cups or the plates, the presence of a tablecloth. Tablecloths are available on a large scale, ranging from synthetic material to natural (linen) , or even mixed.
It goes without saying that the party itself sets the tone. If it’s a fancy event you’re hosting or organizing such as a fancy style banquet, wedding, high class reception or 18th century re-enacting, where you are most likely to use matching silver cutlery for each course in particular, than you should consider getting your hands on the finest pressed linen cloth table available on the market and expect to pay for the quality. The way the dinner is served can also be a hint in choosing the table cloth. You should take into account if the meals will be served around a table or buffet style. If the plates, cups are made of good old plastic it’s advisable you match them with a plastic tablecloth. There are also events that require no special attention on your side on the tablecloth matter such as sport banquets , children birthday parties where the matching party ware is bought altogether (including the tablecloth).
It’s important to maintain the same tonality throughout the party by using matching accessories on different occasions. Therefore tablecloth is an accessory that shouldn’t be neglected when organizing a party

Preparing an event such as a dinner party can cause quite a handful of fuss and agitation to the person(s) in charge, if not all the aspects are well considered and trimmed one by one, prior to the event. The guests have been announced, the play-list is handpicked tune by tune three or even four days prior the event. However, the part that you felt you relied most on didn’t turn out the way you thought it would. I’m talking about the dinner table with all its complementary items. You planned the dinner for such a long time. Well maybe not that long, but you certainly spent a few days organizing, making ends meet. Now you’re expectation on your guest reaction are high as well: the satisfaction on their faces, their delighted looks could be rewarding to you, just as exotic desert fruits. The fruits of your work won’t have a chance of blooming unless you seriously take into consideration the dinner, the courses, their arrangement just as an interior decorator would.
You can start analyzing from a general overview of the table. You need sufficient amount of matching tableware, proper cutlery for special servings and you might consider matching napkins and plastic tablecloths, preferably stain resistant. You need some kind of color scheme for your table. You should not complicate your task to a point that seems unreachable
It’s important to plan in advance because you can get so much more things done with a less or no stress at all. Take in mind the aesthetics of the table. Go through the Adapt it so you "match “the look with the taste, according to your color scheme. Use lively vibrant color such as avocado dipping as an appetizer (easy preparation-tasty reward) Instead of ordering printed place cards you could write them yourself. It will make your guest feel special. Flowers are not to be forgotten. You can even arrange the tableware on the table a day before (besides glassware) and cover it up with a transparent plastic sheet or plastic tablecloth.
This is an easy , failure-proof way to amaze your guests in preparing a dinner for an event of any kind.
